As a financial advisor and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional with more than 18 years of experience, Fred Middleton specializes in offering comprehensive financial planning to clients as they prepare for and transition into retirement. Passionate about education, he seeks to help his clients understand their strategies and feel confident in their decision-making. As a CFP® professional, he is experienced in financial planning through a holistic lens, utilizing a comprehensive process that emphasizes education.
Prior to co-founding PMG with Tipper Tipton, Fred worked with a large Wall Street firm for a number of years. Frustrated with the proprietary products and quotas, he decided to become an independent advisor in order to be able to serve objectively and without any conflicts of interest. Having worked for so many years with Tipper, the two became business partners and created their own firm.
Fred holds FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 securities registrations and the CFP® certification, and is licensed to sell life, disability, and long-term care insurance. He received his Master of Science in Management from Troy University.
Much of Fred’s spare time is spent with his wife, Mary, of more than 22 years, and their two teenage daughters. He enjoys horseback riding, camping, and some good old fashioned yard work.
